The root grapple is a necessity in the tree industry as well as for contractors clearing a lot for home site building. It is ideal for moving logs, brush, rocks, left over building supplies or just about anything else.
This Standard Duty Root Grapple has the hydraulic cylinder enclosed, over sized points and bushings as well as the cylinders operating independently to stabilize uneven loads! All bushings have grease fittings to ensure the longest life of the grapple. The Claws (grapples) are built from top quality steel and are solid. The bottom tines are built from 3/8 top quality steel, continuous weld on the front bar as well as the back support.
Each of our cylinders have a 2 inch bore with a 10 inch stroke, and the hydraulic lines are routed inside the tubing to help prevent any tears from limbs, rocks etc. The grapple opening is about 37 inches, with a depth of 34 inches. Powder coated for a long lasting finish.
